The Konstanz Methods Excellence Workshops (komex) are a core infrastructure project of the Cluster of Excellence The Politics of Inequality. Established in 2022, komex provides excellent, inclusive, and sustainable training in a broad range of empirical research methods for early-career political and social scientists worldwide.
Building on this foundation, komex is launching a new fellowship program designed to broaden participation in advanced methodological training. Six fellowships will be awarded to doctoral or postdoctoral researchers whose institutional contexts offer more limited access to international methods training opportunities. The program aims to reduce financial and structural barriers to participation in komex, while fostering scholarly exchange among researchers working in diverse academic environments and methodological traditions.
